Greg Wilcox, musician

Greg Wilcox is a talented multi-instrumentalist and award-winning Tuvan throatsinger from Rochester, NY. He has a remarkable proficiency on a variety of instruments, including bass guitar, charango, harmonica, doshpuluur, igil, and many others. As a skilled Tuvan throatsinger, Greg has studied under some of the greatest living throatsingers from Tuva, including members of Alash Ensemble, Chirgilchin, Huun-Huur-Tu, and the Tuvan National Orchestra. He actively contributes bass and vocals to various bands, and also performs as a solo act combining Tuvan and American roots music. Greg’s unique combination of talents and musical styles make him a standout artist who is truly one-of-a-kind.

Pink Elephant is a high-energy rock band based in Rochester, NY, whose sound is often compared to the likes of Sonic Youth, Pearl Jam, and The Pixies. With two EPs and two full-length albums under their belt, this band delivers in-your-face, straight-ahead rock music that is both dynamic and nuanced.
